You are making excuses for why you can’t succeed if you say this…

I don’t have time.

I can’t.

People won’t like it.

What if I make a mistake.

I don’t have enough talent.

It’s not a good time.

I would, but

We are busy with the kids.

We are in the middle of that remodel.

I am going to school.

The kids have all kinds of ball games.

I work full time.

I can’t find my niche.

I am not sure what I am good at.

When I retire.

When the kids get older.

After we get some stuff paid off.

Once work settles down.

When we move.

After the baby comes.

I have the grand kids now.

Once my career is settled.

I can’t afford that program.

We need a new computer.

I need to take a class.

After this life crisis.

Once I get over this life crisis.

When I feel better.

I need a degree.

There are so many already doing it.

I wouldn’t know where to start.

I don’t have natural talent.

People have tried and it doesn’t work.

What if people don’t like it.

Stop making excuses and start doing.  You are your biggest obstacle.  Yes, you are!  Either be honest and say that you don’t want to try, or start figuring out how to overcome obstacles.  In the age of information there is no excuse for not being able to find the information you need to learn how to do anything.  So if you truly want to create a great life stop making excuses and get to work.
